A Little More about Librands

Librands was founded back in the late 1980s by Rob Wells of Libra Motive and Rick Bourne of Brands Hatch Morgans...Hence the name.

As Morgan Main Dealers, with a background in engineering and a passion for the Morgan Sportscars, we started producing performance exhausts for the +8, building up a range of products based on our experience and customer requests.

Rob and Rick sold their Morgan dealerships, with Rob retaining the Librands brand, alongside his interest in historic racing and race preparation in the guise of Lewis Racing.

Rob went on to designing a wide range of products such as the Librands door checks, Librands passenger footlockers, Librands side screen storage, luggage racks etc.

Exhausts are designed and fabricated for us in the UK using top quality stainless steel, by an independent specialist. Exhaust products are tested on the rolling road of a respected engine builder, using the same actual car to produce "before and after" graphs of performance.

All Librands stainless luggage racks are also manufactured in the UK by a stainless steel specialist producing the highest quality products in reliability, strength and corrosion resistance polished stainless steel.
